About 1,5 km from lovely "Praia de Odeceixe" and 1 km from the picturesque town of Odeceixe you will find our holiday residence "Monte do Sul".
Thinking of the tremendous rock at "Praia de Odeceixe" we called our place "mount of the south" - "Monte do Sul".
Our natural site is 7,5 ha wide and offers adequate space - 3 families can easily live there side by side. Each casa has it's own terrace and the natural pool invites all guests to go for a swim or a small chat.
All houses have been renovated in 2015 - new kitchens and bathrooms, modern and ecological solar panels, wall heating systems as well as fireplaces in Casa Atlantico and Floresta will make your stay even more comfortable. We'll be happy to welcome you!
The wonderful beach, surrounded by the cliffs, is about 1,5 km away from "Monte do Sul". "Praia de Odeceixe" is a sandy beach and combines the cold and rough waves of the atlantic ocean with the calm waters of the Seixe river that flows along the beach and leads into the sea. Besides swimming and surfing in the ocean, families with younger children might prefer the river for bathing and playing along the waterline. During the main season (may - september) the beach is secured by lifeguards.
Ready to surf? The "Odeceixe surfschool" offers surfing courses for everybody. You will find their office right above the beach as well as a handful of bars and restaurants, which offer small snacks, regional kitchen and cold drinks throughout the day. On the summer weekends the "Kiosk Agapito" usually offers "Musica na Praia" while you can enjoy the last shafts of sunlight.
